This style features an articulated pattern that allows for a wide range of movements, especially reaching overhead or across the body, two welted, high handwarmer pockets with mesh backers for ventilation are harness- and pack-compatible, low-bulk cuffs stay out of the way when reaching for handholds, a hem that adjusts by pulling a cord in the handwarmer pocket and releases with cord locks at the front hem, a solution-dyed yarns reduce water usage by 90% and carbon emissions by 96% compared to conventional dyeing and a lightweight double-weave fabric is soft and warm next to the skin, but doesn’t trap heat; the smooth outer face resists abrasion and sheds moisture with a durable water repellent (DWR) finish made without perfluorinated chemicals (PFCs/PFAS).
